In Seouls new Yongsan International Business District there will be a new urban center called C1-20 which facade will feature a giant media wall.

This new building by Tange Associates, will be a significant urban spot in this new district and it will give access and have a strong relationship to the Retail Valley. The C1-20 block will reach up to 25 stories above ground giving it a height of about 165 meters covering a gross floor area of 58,400 sqm. The most extraordinary feature is probably it’s media wall facade that comes on at night and affect and communicate with the whole area. Since the media wall facade will be able to show digital graphics and art, it can change the whole appearance to the district. This facade built by aluminum mixed with glass in a spiral shape will be the signature or symbol for the C1-20 urban center. Other than these functions, it plans to be an international platform for international companies, educational facilities, clinics, fitness centers and even a 3 star restaurant on the top.
