Apple's profit margins with the new iPad!

    Apple don't really need to worry that much about money right now. Maybe it was impossible to keep the price range down and still be able to add all these new functions and hardware if they didn't lower the profit margin.

    Apple had fallen on hard times, and some predicted its death. Now some of those same pundits say the iMac saved it. Whatever you think, the iMac set Apple on the road to dominating through style and functionality rather than sheer features and power.

    Yes, they were struggling before, but what I heard the iPod saved the company from failing, not the iMac. It's all these "post PC" devices that makes all the money for Apple.

    I heard the same actually, the ipods were the gold mine and now the iPhone and the iPad has taken the lead as money makers.

    Yep that's true, the post pc devices are the gold mine, apple is actually not a computer company any longer, they also did drop the name "computers" from their name.
