Many people don't have the luxury of space in their homes and a kitchen usually takes a lot of space. Here are some modern kitchens who doesn't take up much space at all! The kitchen on the picture above is called Circle Kitchen and is designed by Compact Concepts. What's your take in compact kitchens? Do you like them or would you prefer your kitchen to use up more of your valuable space?

Small and compact kitchens will be what we are gonna use in the future if our population continue to grow in this speed. People choosing a smarter and smaller environment in my opinion are taking more responsibility than those who aren't
    Very nice post!

I certainly agree with you gaultney, This is what's called good design for real. To be able to fit all those appliances in a box of that size is just very pure cleverness!

Tiny! The circle kitchen is cute but ain't gonna happen, not for me anyways. I like the Grandmas Revenge concept, how everything just slides back into the wall. The only problem with the idea is that there's no personalization, should you ever want to replace the bench with something a slightly different shape, or otherwise damage or lose the bench, you're stuck with an oddly shaped hole in your kitchen.

The Kitchoo kitchens are definitely my style! I could see those taking off for studio apartments and offices.

It's not a whole kitchen, but it practically is. I found this a pretty impressive space-saving cabinet -- virtually everything you could think of putting in a cabinet consolidated into one. Another design from bulthaup that I could see being emulated by others in the future.
