Ever thought concrete can be bent to form without cracking? You're right - it couldn't until the brilliant fellows at ECO Elegant Concrete have found a way to do this. The attached photo is only a sample - more photos on my Google+ account. Using this technique they can make almost any conceiveble item.

Wow that's amazing! Can you do like bed frames too in concrete? That would be really cool!
  4. Thanks. I thins so too :)
  5. We can make practically almost any product from this material, bed frames included. Any particular design in mind?
  6. Cleo Designer

No particular, but I just noticed that concrete would be such a cool material to use for beddframes.
  7. If we ever make one I'll make sure to post a photo here.

Wow, nice images, I really like that you can shape almost anything out of concrete. :)

Looks good, but how good is the quality of that chair for example? Will it break if you drop it while moving?
  12. Like any other piece of furniture it must be handled with care but it is not fragile.
  13. It's because of the way they bend them. The sharp bend weakens the metal, and it will break when stressed at considerably less than their tensile capacity. I'll use them for sill plate anchors, but for the tie-downs, high-strength bolt with an oversized washer.
  14. Hi William,

Does your post refer to ECO's forma (bent concrete) products? Looks like you've posted in the wrong place. Our products, beautiful and durable as they are do not contain metal (there are polypropylene fibers as a replacement aggregate) and I would not use them for anything constructional.

Please click photos of different furniture made from concrete and paste them here. I want to have a look on them. I want something new for my new house.
  16. I suggest you got to http://pinterest.com/elegantconcrete/concrete-furniture/ and http://pinterest.com/elegantconcrete/forma/ - there you can see most of the items we have made so far (more to follow) but don't stop there - we can make almost anything you can think of so if you have an idea, crazy as it may be send us a drawing or even a sketch and we will give it a shot.
