Big Windows!

    Hello, I'm working on a Brooklyn-based design blog and I noticed it seems like large windows are a popular trend lately. The buildings around me are covered in floor-to-ceiling glass. Is there anything behind the trend? Is it an environmentally conscious decision? Or is it more of a "wow-factor"?

    I think people today prefer buildings with large windows, before we were unable to build with large windows, but today we can! That might be why a lot of people like it, its modern!

    It's definitely the wow factor. Windows are expensive, difficult to install, and work both ways. If it's not for natural light or to show off a view,

    Agree with you all, Big windows are sleek, contemporary and what everybody wants. If you live in an apartment you want to be able to enjoy the view!
