Spaceport America is the world's first Spaceport commercial spaceport designed for space business and to create a new way to travel into space! The building is designed by Forster + Partners.

It's smaller than I imagined.. If I think of a spaceport, I think of something that can load spaceships, with big hangars etc. This looks so small! Fosters + Partners have done a good job though with the design, very futuristic!

Everything new must be small in the beginning!:adoration: If this workout well, they will surely make it bigger and build more "spaceports" around the world. Imagine having spaceports instead of airports!

Yeah ok, but having this instead of airports isn't very realistic!? Why would we need spaceports instead of airports.. Airports are for traveling on the earth and spaceports are for traveling into space?

What he mean was that it will be possible to travel longer distances on the earth through space (you won't waste any fuel if you reach space). So technically we might have spaceports instead of airports :kiwi-fruit:

No, you are right, we will probably have both!

Yes this is what I meant!

Ok, now it all makes sense:playful:. Haven't heard about this, but it all sounds very interesting!

Cool! First time I heard the term spaceport, I think. It will be exciting to follow up on this project later on and see how far it has gone in development. The building itself is very nice with the entrance and the use of glass on both floors and windows. I really like it!

First time I heard it too, but I am not very impressed.. First, It's too small for a Spaceport (when I imagine a spaceport I imagine something big and cool), Second the entrance is very weird and not very commercial...

The concept looks pretty sweet, but I do have to agree it seems a bit small for what I imagine the size of a spaceport to be. I think it has some potential.

Yes, as said I think you have to start small for everything new and see how well it develops! If this is a huge hit, I am sure they have expansion plans. :02.47-tranquillity:
